It was an absolute delight to work on the branding & graphic design for ‘Mamma Makes: Recipes & Stories from multicultural Britain’, an e-cookbook comprising of over 50 recipes from some of Britain’s chefs, home cooks and food influencers from the black and minority ethnic community, each providing a mouthwatering recipe that is wrapped up in a brief story of how they and their family migrated to Britain.

Produced by a freelance TV producer and food lover Fozia, the book’s aim is to donate all proceeds to One Million Meals which has a target to feed one million nutritious meals and drinks to NHS doctors, nurses, paramedics and key workers at the frontline fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chefs include Ching He Huang, Denai Moore (Dee’s Table), Shelina Permalloo (Masterchef, Lakaz Maman), Saima Khan (Hampstead Kitchen), Liam Barker (BLKN), Dr Kiran Rahim (The Munching Medic), Ifeyinwa and Emeka (Chuku’s), Sumayya Usmani, Jimi Famurewa (Evening Standard), Vivek Singh (The Cinnamon Club) and Parveen Ashraf (Parveen’s Indian Kitchen ITV) amongst others.

The book is releasing on 16th September 2020 on their website – hope you enjoy this beautiful recipe book as much as we did creating it.
